Youth Attitudes
"What Youth Think, Feel and Believe"
The Youth Attitudes Survey is a qualitative exploration into the perceptions of teens and of younger childen with parents permission from around the World. The purpose of this research is to explore and model how today's youth see the world around them. The information gathered provides useful illustrations of what kids think about important topics.
To understand their views, participants are asked a series of open-ended questions, so their responses provide rich, detailed description about their thoughts and feelings on certain topics. The words and the stories described in their answers are used to help adults better understand the way kids think and ultimately, to see the world through the eyes of today's youth.
Its mission is also to provide useful information for judges and legislators who make decisions and laws about marriage, divorce and the welfare of children. Young people are welcome to view the results to better understand their peers and parents to better understand their children.
Ideas for questions are recommended by a panel of educators, mental health professionals and parents.
World Youth Attitudes is private research conducted by The Wilmington Institute Network.
The confidentiality of participating youngsters is protected.
